A professional soldier, Chris Redfield, the well-known players from previous installments Resident Evil, leaves no hope to obliterate all traces of activity, which has for decades engaged in developing biological weapons. So far, all studies on the establishment of the army invulnerable monsters fizzle, but the mad scientists are optimistic and continue to conduct cruel experiments on living people. In search of truth, the main character goes to a small African village and discovers hundreds of people affected by another experimental virus. Poor souls have changed not only externally but also internally: pursued by a cruel hunger, they attack anything that moves. This virus turned sick in perfect killers, making them the body is much stronger and hardier. And very soon, Chris and his co-worker Sheva Alomar will have to meet with serious opponents, little resembling mindless Undead from previous games Resident Evil ...

About This Game

The second heart-stopping shooter by Monolith (after F.E.A.R.) continues the spine-tingling supernatural suspense story of an escalating paranormal crisis that threatens to destroy a major American city. Now that she has been loosed upon the world, the consequences will be unimaginable.

If you're looking for a new twist on ghoulies, ghosties, long-legged beasties, and things that go bump in the night, look no further than Ghost Master. Sick Puppies' real-time strategy game stands horror-game traditions on their heads, swapping the spooks and scares of Resident Evil and Silent Hill for supernatural management duties reminiscent of Dungeon Master. It's a great novelty, first of all, but it's also a real success in terms of gameplay, thanks to outstanding scenario design and an irreverent sense of humor.

The core elements of Ghost Master are simple. Reverse the stereotypical ghost story and you have a pretty good idea what this game is all about. Unlike in your garden-variety horror game, where you wander the halls of a haunted house waiting to be frightened into a fresh pair of BVDs, here you're some kind of dead civil servant (insert "are there any other kind?" or similar joke here) in charge of the rattling chains and disembodied footsteps. Problems in the small town of Gravenville have attracted the notice of the Haunter Committee, and you're sent to set things right by generally scaring the bejesus out of the flesh-and-blood types.

You do this by recruiting a team of ghosts for each scenario. This spook squad is drawn from six categories--sprites, disturbances, elementals, vapours, frighteners, and horrors--named for the chief characteristics and skills of their members. The sprites class, for instance, consists of minor spirits who mess up electrical appliances, like the cogjammer gremlin and the ghostly spider, clatterclaws. Elementals features aether and earthwall, who have the capabilities of air and earth elementals, respectively. Horrors represents the worst of the worst, such as the mortal-possessing ghastly and the headless horseman. Every sort of spook that's ever made type B-positive run down the walls in a fright flick is at your beck and call here.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto

Giants: Citizen Kabuto is an odd little game. It takes place on a small island populated by short, big-headed people who speak with Scottish accents. They are called Smarties. Out to sea the evil Sea Reapers plot to retake the island for themselves, and they’ve created a 30-foot-tall monster named Kabuto to help them with their task. To this world come the Meccarins, a trio of humanlike spacemen who wear powered armor and have jetpacks. They arrive and befriend the Smarties against the Sea Reapers, and Kabuto breaks free from Sea Reaper control. All heck breaks loose.

Giants was developed by Planet Moon Studios, an offshoot of the wacky Shiny Entertainment studio that brought us Earthworm Jim and Sacrifice. It shows. The between-mission movies are hilarious and filmed inventively (using the game’s graphics) throughout. You begin by portraying the Meccs as they puzzle out the new world and help people. Next you portray Delphi, a sexy sorceress Sea Reaper, and finally you get to walk in the massive footsteps of Kabuto himself. The game plays with arcade style; before you’re done you’ll have flown around and fired weapons, conjured spells, participated in a jet-ski race or two, and eaten just about everything that moves as the giant himself. It’s dizzying, it’s fun, and you’ll never forget you played it.

(Note: not for kids–strong language, violence, blood and adult humor throughout)

Nocturne

It's difficult to invoke suspense and tension in a computer game, but games like Nocturne keep trying. Nocturne borrows heavily from Capcom's Resident Evil third-person action-adventure games, which in turn stole their creepy style from Infogrames' Alone in the Dark series. This formula calls for claustrophobic scenery, bizarre camera cuts, unexpected encounters, and a scarcity of ammunition, and on first impression, Nocturne follows this formula precisely. On first impression, Nocturne is also one of the best-looking games of the year. But the game reveals its true colors soon enough, and you'll quickly begin to find its flaws one by one, one after another, until you find yourself trying to play a game that isn't as scary as it tries to be, nor as visually attractive as it might have been.

Action will take place during the Second World War, but all events invented. Players will play for the agent BJ Blazkowicz OSA. Playing for the agent, you will have to fight with soldiers, otherworldly creatures and monsters created by Nazi scientists to subjugate the world. At your disposal will also be a parallel dimension. You will have to investigate this, together with the rebel forces to destroy the Nazi war machine. In the game will be as conventional weapons, as well as "supernatural." The developers promise the various steps in the game. Wolfenstein offers diverse range of missions related to each other. Also, the game will be multiplayer with conventional weapons and "superhuman."
